Celebrating Halloween and Guy Fawkes night

It has been a good weekend. We were looking for a Halloween costume for my son and managed to find a mask, a fork and black top, from Poundland and he already has bottoms and I have ordered a cloak from Amazon and my son is really looking forward to it. He has a Halloween mug and so got to myself one and find my witches hat and got a black dress and going to find myself a cloak and then see I can find a good and easy make up for it.

My son wasn't always into it and didn't have no interest but now because we have a lot of decor and dressed up the last two years, he has grown in love with it.

The same with fireworks night and he was very afraid of them and now he again, is now interested and I promised to take him to a display and so booked one that is being hosted in Morden Hall Park and is really looking forward to it and whether you believe in it or not, it is, I feel good to enjoy and if they find they don't like it then, that is fine, but having that experience as a kid, I feel is important. I love fireworks night. I grew up on a housing estate and they hosted one on what is called, The Square for a while but eventually that had ended and so the nearest display was Ravenscourt Park, but I think we went there once to watch the fireworks display and so it is only since having my son that we went to a display again.

My nan never liked them, because of living through the blitz.

As a kid I did do trickle treating around the Estate and that was because we knew many of the residents and were always accompanied by an adult.

They would have fancy dress at school and would each year teach us about it and on of the girls I went to school with birthday landed on Halloween and she shared her birthday with her mum and so was always celebrating it and I am glad I have those memories that has lasted me a lifetime.

I want my son to have happy memories of these yearly annual celebrations.

So lets get our witches hats, cat costumes and ghosts or even vampire fancy dress costumes and use it to build memories for ourselves and for our children.

A Good weekend/Pre-birthday day out

It was such a good weekend and thankful for getting to do go on trips and we, my mum, stepdad and my son travelled from Putney to North Greenwich by UberBoat and it took about and hour or so but was such good fun and wanted to do this from last year and chose a really good Saturday to do it.

Going passed the London Eye Via UberBoat

They have a cafe inside with coffee and tea and other drinks and snacks. They do have a toilet and you can seat outside or inside, and they do get busy so time we chose worked out well and you can use Oyster card, buy a ticket from the machines they have or use your bank card, but you it is cheaper to get a ticket.

I am not sure if my son enjoyed and I think next time as he doesn't like shopping will not take him. He moaned a little but all in all he was very well behaved and perhaps do something separate with him and his dad.

Yet it still was a good day and then Sunday Henry went to his rugby club. They have a team that is inclusive for children with learning difficulties and I did my radio show. I do a show on Epsom Hospital Radio on Sundays 4 to 6 in the afternoon.

I do love the weekends and it is good to have hobbies at the weekend.

I like going for walks and next weekend I am with my husband and friends, going to see a show.

It is good to different things at the weekend and going for a coffee and when it is not raining playing football or rugby with my son.

It was also the start of Strictly Come Dancing and was good I liked Chris McCausland, not because of disability but because he is just puts a smile on your face and so uplifting.

I really hope he does well and hope there are no longer any controversy of maltreatment and is seen as a family show again and fun too. I not really into shows like Big Brother or Love Island. Many may want to disown me because of that but there just not my thing.

If you like to see my trip North Greenwich, then please check out my Vlog and Instagram:

Rugby Weekend/Watching Sport

So today was a normal one. After a week of sickness, my son had a Chest Infection, he returned to school and was a good day. I stayed in. The weekend was good. We went to Twickenham to see the England Rugby Ladies and they won. Then on Sunday my son went to his rugby club and I did my radio. My show is on Epsom Hospital Radio at 4 to 6 and so was good that my son is better and he got to see his school friends whilst I got bits done for the week.

Picture I took on Saturday watching the England Ladies Rugby Team

It good that the ladies get to play at the huge stadiums and they did have a good turn out. There were lots of families and my brother and his wife and kids went with other people we know.

Rugby is such a great way to meet new people and I loved it when I would follow the London Broncos.

It is good to see our international teams, men and ladies, because it so good to see so many people forget their worries for 80 or 90 minutes, depending on the sport.

I never used to like football, but when I began to see how great it was, I became addicted and love going to see athletics and would love to go and see that again.

The rugby club that my son goes to is an all inclusive team, which is for children with learning difficulties and of different ages and so welcoming and everyone is so friendly. Check out Wimbledon RFC and it took a long time to find one, but so glad we did.

My son has ADHD and Development Delay and so he won't really make conversation but loves other children and want him to never feel limited in what ever he wants to do and life be restricting for him, to follow his dreams and ambitions.

Sport should be for all and glad we have the Paralympics and wheelchair tennis and walking football teams and clubs. It is great for kids to have social interaction. Forming relationships and that my son is happy. He loves other children and we now on the hunt for a good secondary school for him.

This is taking its time but being that he is at his third Primary school, because the first two schools couldn't cater to his needs, don't want him to change secondary schools so is important that we find a school to help him grow. He is kind and will say hello but he will often be with himself and talk to his self a lot and there are people who can be unsure of him.

He not overly naughty, but has bags of energy and gets to the point, he doesn't know what to do with himself and so it is good that he can go somewhere, where he can let off some steam and energy.

The National Health Service in the UK

Oh what a day Friday was. My son had to go to the hospital because his heart rate was a bit high and found out that he has a chest infection, and thankful that Henry managed to get an appointment and then was told to go to the hospital and glad I did, as he temperature was going up and down.

My son this was a couple of weeks ago when he was well and hope he gets better

Henry was so good, he got a bit upset as he wanted to go over to Wimbledon to see his grandparents but it was getting later and later so we went there on Saturday morning, and is antibiotics and just reminds me that never take chances. If your kids are sick call your GP or take them to the hospital to be on the safe side and to get an appointment you have to go all around the houses. You have to fill an online form and then they call you if you are able to see a doctor or nurse and relieved I got an appointment.

It turned out that Henry has a chest infection and so on antibiotics.

This means he will miss school as the doctor at the hospital said that he must rest and allow the infection to clear and that if it gets worse or doesn't seem to be getting better to go back.

The doctors were and nurses were excellent and I don't think I could do health care as it is a very demanding job and they have deal with a lot.

Many may see well they knew what the job involved, but we need doctors and nurses to help us when we get sick. It would be nice if the whole world and every thing in the world could be healthy but that isn't reality and that people get sick, especially kids.

We've going to see the doctor at 10am so see how that goes. I am a bit nervous but that's natural because your kids are your life and glad that he can get help as many countries it is a lot harder and often enough don't have the resources like we do here.

I watch Call the Midwife and I read the book and it reminds us how far we have come when it comes to hospitals and medical care. There have been reports of hospital staff doing bad things like there was a doctor who was injecting woman with his blood and was HIV positive and then there is the Lucy Letby and she was killing babies but you hear those cases and is news because most staff are caring and took my son back to the doctors today and was fine, but I bought some more Calpol and lost it so I had to go back, but my son he is a trooper and we bought some more but now he is chilling and rest is one of the best things.

What experiences have you had with the National Health Service?

The Days of School

My sons second day back at school and noticed today that one of the local secondary school is open but later and it made me think about my school days. I dreaded it as they would make you do the beep test and do a run around the school, and at the time was one of the last things I wanted to do.

This was food that my son made at school

I am from West London and my primary school was a school called St Pauls, which is in Hammersmith and my Secondary school was in Westminster and where my mum worked and didn't want anyone to know that she was my mother, because I feared I'd might get bullied, but actually it didn't and got a bit of respect because of it. The teachers however didn't know and it was only on parents evenings that they realised but wouldn't get away with bad behaviour as they'd go straight to my mum, so didn't always have its benefits.

The school dinners I did not enjoy and very different now. With my son I pick the meals using an APP where when I was a school it was a canteen and you queued up unless you packed lunch with I did go on too because I did not like the school dinners and what influenced my choices and was super fussy.

It is good that the meals are a lot better and my son was fussy but started to eat his vegetables again and there have been a part of the year where my son wasn't eating his dinners because he wanted chocolate. That has now changed and is now eating his meals again and not wanting to binge off of snacks.

I know it has to come from me and my sons dad, to make sure our son is healthy but not depriving him in anyway.

It is important to eat good food that you enjoy and I have been working on my own eating habits as my cholesterol was a bit high again, but no longer have diabetes and want it to stay that way and improve my health by eating more sensibly and that gives me more energy and not feel guilty. This was something I did a lot was feel guilty about food I consumed.

Educating people/children about good foods and that help them get the right nutrients in their body is to be taken seriously and that they are nutritious and helps them to grow and develop and still having a treat or too but not all of the time.

So what were your school dinners like at school? You can reply by the comment box below.

Last day spending a day with my son before school is back

Today is the last day before my son returns to school and been swimming and had a McDonalds and walked back to build our steps as it is a fair distance from the leisure centre and now my son is having a snooze.

Paddling Pool in Eastbourne and wasn't expensive and will be going back as there is plenty to do for your kids and have a holiday.

There have a been few turbulence as whilst picking bits for dinner he was picking random things up and wanting to walk in the opposite direction when going home, but all is alright again and I think it was tiredness as that's when he can be a monster.

I am looking forward to a day to myself and that it is okay to have that time, because it is good to have some space, whilst my son is learning at school. It will help me adjust back to the school days and time to myself and have some plans, such as going for a coffee and doing some writing outdoors and go for a walk.

It has been a quick six week, but I am ready for a new year and then their is half term in October to make plans and I have birthdays, including mine and going to see if there will be any firework display that I can take him too.

Not sure if there are going to afterschool clubs that my son can go to as he enjoyed them last school year and having swimming lessons again.

Here are some of my highlights  of this years summer holidays:

  • Visiting the RAF museum
  • Going for walks along the river London and Surrey
  • The picnic in Surbiton
  • Going to Portsmouth Harbour
  • Going to Eastbourne
What were you highlights of the Summer Holidays 2024 and were there places you'd like to go back to or ones you didn't get around to seeing. You can share in the comments section below.
Eastbourne is a great place to go and will be going back, and in October going to see if I can book a trip to Guildford and wouldn't mind taking a visit there.
I have bought tickets to see Hairspray at the Wimbledon Theatre and have booked tickets for this years pantomime at the Wimbledon Theatre and got a lot to look forward to even when it will cold and hope I get the chance to visit a Christmas Market and having a festive coffee.

I hope you have enjoyed my blogs I shared about the things I did during the school holidays and will be sharing more of my Autumn and Winter.

Coming to the End of Summer 2024

Today is the last day of the Summer School Holidays and it has been really good. I have 't felt that stressed and it has flown by. I find that the years go even faster as you reach your mid age and so everyday is another day to add to my life.

I am realising that it is okay to just stop and just be quiet and I love having the TV off whilst I read and I have read a lot this summer and some really good books which I will share via blog, My Books and Stories

My son loves his holiday club and that grateful for having some time to myself and just stay local some days and do bits I don't always get to do, like watch documentaries as I don't always have access to Netflix, Paramount or Prime but thinking of getting it on my laptop because I am loving the documentaries.

Today my son took is scooter to one of the local parks, met my mum for a coffee, then my son wanted to go on a bus and train ride. So we took the 164 bus from Wimbledon to Sutton Station and looked around Sutton as it has been a long time since we last visited Sutton, and there is a shopping centre in there now with Primark and some really nice coffee shops on the ground floor and will be taking another trip there as it was a change and then got the train back to Hayden's road and then later had some food in All Bar One in Wimbledon. Tomorrow we are going to meet Henry's dad to get him some new school shoes, then back to Epsom and then it is school again.

Do check out Eastbourne as it was such a great trip and will be returning and now my for the first time doesn't want to go to school as he has enjoyed himself so much and feel very lucky in that we have family who can take us to different places and going on the train to Portsmouth Harbour, walking from Strawberry Hill to Richmond, check out my previous daily blogs.

So it is now Friday evening and so going to stay up for a bit longer and then it will be sleep time and been getting bits ready for my sons return to school that I am little nervous, getting things prepared for my son's returns to school, like sorting out his lunches, his unform, his transport and send my sons videos of him reading, that was asked and he has done well and making changes so he reads more challenging books to help with his learning and that he continues to develop his skills and building his independence as this is his final year at Primary school, and we (my mum and I) looking for secondary schools.

There are more blogs to come and I hope you have had a good Summer, by having lots of fun too.

Many thanks for reading,

Lovely Day at the Seaside

Today we went to Eastbourne and was planned last minute, and why I am grateful to have the family in my life as I do have a kind of fear going far away when its just me and Henry. I would like to take him away on my own but I want him to be fully independent before I do so and make sure I feel safe so he feels the same.

Picture I took in Eastbourne and was so nice and recommend to visit Eastbourne as it was a good day out.

It took me a while to take him out where he lives in Epsom and Wimbledon because he would be a nightmare to take him to different places, when it came to home time and it would be a lots of tears and tantrums, to get him home and then he wants to go somewhere else and I feel overwhelmed by it.

So Eastbourne. The first toilet I used was grouse, but if you walk on near the pier there are better ones and I bought some donuts which I haven't had in a long time and being near the seaside I felt I must, then we played in the amusements, picked up some fudge, which melted and naught and my son had a little dip in the sea. There is a paddling pool too, with a crazy golf and a nice restaurant called, The Beach Deck and was very nice, and then drove on and then there was a lighthouse.

There are places to eat and drink on the pier and would like to go back there again and played in the amusements for a bit, so going to look at booking a holiday there and see more.

You can get there by train, and apparently the train station is not that far away and there are many caravan parks, hence why I want to go back there, and be near the seaside so going to chat with my husband to see if he'd like to go there.

I did post on my Instagram showing different pictures and was a lovely day. It was nice to be beside the seaside, seeing the English coast and I really think we should be looking after our seaside resorts and some parts did look a bit neglected, but any how it was great to visit and just nice to visit different places on home soil, not that I wouldn't go abroad again as I definitely would but, for a weekend of a day out, it was nice and I want to visit more seaside places and explore.

If you have any recommendations then please share. You can leave a comment below.

So going to say goodnight and will post again this week and share more.

Picnic in the park

Yesterday was so nice, having a picnic in a park in Surbiton. It was organised by my brother and Henry played, and did play up a little because he wanted to use a smaller rugby ball, another smaller boy wanted to play with it so that was a challenge, but then stopped and played and glad that the sun was out and they have a playground there and yes a real change and sad that this is it for bank holidays for 2025.

In Alexander Park Surbiton

I am getting nervous about next week and getting things organised, like my sons transport to school, got to get a few more bits in terms of uniforms...this I hope will be done by end of today, so that is one thing that I want to get done and out of the way.

There is organising Henry's meals for school and then making sure he has items for his sports day and then it is sorting out meals at home, as been lucky this Summer Holidays, I haven't had to make many meals and cook, so been thankful for that and so it is back to normality. Back in the kitchen.

I will be starting my Autumn reset to get many of my projects still to do completed, and so I will be sharing more on that, as we get to the end of August and change of season.

Today I put a post up on my Instagram, look up Typical London gal and will included in my vlogs and will be posting blogs on my site Everyone can build a castle.

This year I really feel that life can be easy and it is how you go about it and keep it simple, as it doesn't have to be hard work. I avoid the pressure by just taking my time and being present with myself and be thankful for all that I have got. It has been an enjoyable summer and took some good trips to places. No I didn't go abroad or stayed anywhere, but I am sure that will happen, just not this year and I am fine with that.

My son is growing everyday so want to make the most of the holidays and he has been a rascal at times and not always happy, but we got through it and I really enjoyed our walks we did, from Strawberry Hill to Richmond and Hampton Court to Kingston, having coffee up at Wimbledon Village and visiting Portsmouth.

So it has been a lots of fun, so going to enjoy the last three days of the Summer Holidays and hope that we have extra sunny days.

Unplanned Walk Summer Holidays 2024

So yesterday I with my mum and step dad to Hampton Court and walked to Kingston and was unplanned and I love that it can be one of the best times and being spontaneous.

Photo I took of Kingston Bridge

Yes I still got my to do list I create on notion done, like I did start the last unit of my Counselling course and posted a blog and edited a vlog https://youtu.be/nKZL2lLlQYs

It was nice walking along the river and we did sit down in parts as my step dad has bad legs, but it was just good see Hampton Court Palace and the houses and the boats. There were families cycling together and runners and so peaceful.

We went to have a bite to eat and it was alright. We had some chicken wings but was read inside and so wouldn't return but there are other places along the river, but it does get busy so to get anywhere to eat, a table you have to get there early before lunchtime.

Hampton is good for scenery and Kingston is buzzing as it is a shopping town and so if you like to shop then it is a good place to go.

I have before now walked from Kingston to Richmond which is a good walk and from Chiswick to Richmond, which I did with my mum and it is good to have a friend with you, but also like to walk alone too and helps with my mind stay healthy.

I had a good nights sleep, woke up early and got bits done before my son got up this morning and felt so good and want to do more walks and is one of my favourites things that helps to stay feeling good and just taking in what is around you, and didn't have any music on and just looked around me and if you know of some good walks then please share. You can leave a comment below and why you love walking too.

It is good to walk and just have that time to think whilst you feet walk and different places that are safe but enjoyable and exploring.

The school holidays have been good and did a few unplanned days, like my mum took us to the RAF museum which was good to see as my son loves planes and it was so nice to see, booked to go and see a Rugby League match, I support the London Broncos and got to go on the pitch and was booked last minute and again going to Battersea and it has been so much fun.

There have been times that I have felt anxious about it, and there have been parts where I felt that, like taking him swimming because we had to book somewhere else and was worried about getting there, but was fine and was enjoyable and so got two or so weeks left of the 2024 Summer Holidays and going to see what else we can do before school starts again.

Enjoying the Summer Holidays 2024

Today is a start of doing my own radio show and I am nervous, but excited at the same time and praying that it goes well. It is good to put yourself out there as this is something I have dreamed about and that your dreams can come true and taking it show by show.

I like to do things that I never thought I could do and it has become naturally to me and I love music, so for me it is a perfect job to do and I really have been enjoying it, as I began doing Friday evenings as part of my training and so today I flew solo and it really went well.

The River Thames from Richmond Bridge

It is good to have a job that you look forward to and this is the one.

So if you wanted to listen to my show you can in the UK and is 4 to 6 every Sunday.

The summer holidays have been good, we walked from Strawberry Hill to Richmond and it was long but I really enjoyed it and love it. As I was walking it made me see I have always done it and again is natural to me as I would walk from my home in Hammersmith to Earls Court to see my nan so I have always walked and enjoying building my steps.

On Friday we went to Portsmouth Harbour and got stuck driving a boat but was good fun and could have stayed later but we were worrying getting back too late, and was a long journey.

I also took my son swimming which I was anxious about as we didn't got to our usual place, but worked out well and I really want to get back into swimming if it is possible and hobby I want to be consistent and walking, to build myself up to do running again.

I have really enjoyed this summer holidays and I love a day out and still got two weeks left.

Today my son goes to a holiday club and means I have a bit of time for myself, so will be spending time on catching up for Sunday, going through my finances, want to declutter and go through my clothes, I want to continue doing a course I have enrolled on and planning for my next radio show.

I have been working on my book series Mum&Me and working on book 2 and still waiting for my book When Mothers Are Real to be edited and proofread and so hope that this can be completed by Christmas and going to start on a Christmas Book.

So lets get ready for a new week and if you want to be notified when I post on this blog site then please subscribe.

Enjoying the Summer Holidays 2024

It is surprising what you dream of. I just woke up from a dream thinking it was Christmas and that I felt like what happened and that it was end of another year.

My mum took this is at the top of Battersea Power Station in London

The day is Sunday and had a cup of tea in bed, but my son woke up with Cramp, which is painful and now up and watching video on Youtube, @alltheladies  who does hauls from many different brands and she puts up a video every Friday.

Today has been a good as we took a trip to Battersea and I had a coffee, a walk around because my son and mum and step dad went to the top of the tower. I will do it and not allow me fear of heights stop me as it would be so good to see the view of London.

It is amazing, being a Londoner of how much it is been built up and would like to shop there and go for a meal and drink along there as I love being the River Thames and walked to Collier Wood, where I did my shopping for the local Foodbanks and bits for my son for his packed lunch as he is going to his holiday club and now he has gone to see a friend of m Step dad. He helps out an elderly lady and is a such a good thing for my son and teach him about helping others and doing acts of kindness.

Yesterday we went to support my brother as he helps to help promote rugby and went to a pub in Berrylands where I never been before and you can get there by train and is just 2 minutes from Berrylands Station. It was called the Berrylands pub and had a climbing frame a swings for kids and was really nice and the food was excellent.

So I am all walked out but do want to take Henry to another park today so he can ride his bike and so see if we can do that and having a lovely roast dinner and grateful for all the things I have in my life and I have sinned, but now I have got my life back and doing more than I have ever done in my life and it is good to feel such joy.

Life is full of testing times and it is so important to live and it doesn't have to cost you anything but building relationships that are there to support you and letting the negatives feelings towards people in your life go, because it could be the last time you ever see them, and so I try to not feel resentful, because someone has lost weight but I haven't, but use it to see it is possible, no longer getting upset because the meal I cooked didn't go to plan and just letting all those bad feelings go and you can do that too,

If you know of places to go that you'd recommend as I love visiting different places, please put into the comment section below this blog.

Please check out my Pinterest as I post all my blogs and images, and books I have written that you may enjoy. https://www.pinterest.co.uk/thetypicalLondongal/

Sharing my feelings of England and going to football matches

What a shame England got beat after feeling hopeful that we were going to restart history of winning an international tournament but wasn't meant to be. I still recovering being so close to victory and question that I will need another two years for the world cup and why we get so close only to end in tears.

AFC Wimbledon

I think I am going to go to a concert rather at Wembley rather than watching England play and fail.

I should be used to it by now, but I really feel it and wish I could play as it is so frustrating. I feel that we improved as England took their time to wake up and not in the training field and that we were a little bit slow and I love fast paced football.

Not saying that didn't try. Of course they did but they took their time to get themselves together and wished it was easy to watch, as I was dubious. Any how we have to move on and hope they can find a new Manager to manage England Football team, and it is going to be a surprise of who it is going to be.

Who do you think will be the next inline to take over the England job and I feel I have been overly negative and so going to stop and just love the game for the way it is and moaning just gets you no where.

I will be taking Henry to some football matches, not necessarily to follow any team but because I like going to a football match and supporting the smaller clubs like Leatherhead FC or AFC Wimbledon and help keep the game a live and good thing to do and would like to take Henry another midweek game before he returns to school, as last year it was really good.

The Olympics is on but it appears that many are stuck because of travel and so I wonder how it is going to go. I hope that whatever the problem is gets resolved as always fear people being hurt when they just want to enjoy this four year apart tournament and that people can get there safely and not miss out on anything.

The weather is good today so I am going to go and sit out in the garden until I have to pick my son up from his holiday club and retire for the day and enjoy the weekend.

Why I like to get up before 5am

I have struggled in the week getting up before 5am but this morning when it was around 4:15am was wide awake and went through my emails, did my cheat sheet I do each week and gone through my song list for my Friday's radio show and now writing this blog.

The football is on later so going to preserve my energy to watch that and now I am on the sofa with a towel around my head as I just washed my hair and feel rejuvenated and fresh.

Today we, my husband and I will be going over to Wimbledon to get my sons haircut and I need some new pyjamas and want to search for my notebook that has my notes of Mum&Me in as I have been writing book two as it will be a series of books. Please check out my first book: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mum-Me-Gucci-Tits-Virtue/dp/B0BGNF4LNF

I am pumped for tonight for the Euros 2024 final, England Vs Spain and not going to say anything else but is roast dinner day being a Sunday at which my husband cooks and if it is a nice day play football with my son in the garden before hand and then it is getting my son ready for his final week of school, as he breaks up for the Summer Holidays and so got many things planned and feel it is going to be a good six weeks.

There is a lot criticism around football because of money and it does get to me too, but I feel that sport and music has a great way to bring people together and so going to keep talking about it and see what happens. What will be, will be.

There was a time with International tournaments, example Euro 96 when I were the same clothes for each match. Of course made sure they had been washed, and at the beginning of this Euros was very negative about it and felt pessimistic about England this year and now I feel a lot more positive and I am not going to predict result and just enjoy it.

Yesterday I met up with the other presenters of Epsom Hospital Radio where I do a show on a Friday and the pub we were originally going to meet was shut, so we went to another and that is life but it should never spoil your day and it was good to chat about music and the football and listening to other people's point of view and then went back home, had a nice dinner and watched a film.

Check the film The Maze Runner.

So I hope you have a good week ahead and enjoy your Sunday wherever you are.

A Good Raining Weekend

It is Sunday and my son is already asking if we can go to the park which could potentially be wet and dirty and have bits to do and maybe watching my niece in a show and so feel like I just want to stop in to watch  bit of TV.

My tempted on taking a photo over Kingston Bridge but the rain was pouring

We did go for a walk and almost got wet as it poured down with rain and hid under a tree and then wet back home and now it is the evening, we had a lovely dinner. We had Toad in the hole and was lovely and now up with a cup of tea. I did got to bed early but then my son wanted to do "Where's Wolly" book and so stayed awake and so had a new lease of life.

I still want to get up early tomorrow like have been doing now but I find if I got to bed to early I feel more tired and my body suffers when sleeping for too long.

It has been a good weekend, watching the football even though once again was going to stop watching so it was a relief that England won and now in the Semi Finals of the Euros and had a chilled out Saturday, doing a bit of shopping and watched a documentary again, watching the Singer Pink and waiting to see Cyndi Lauper's.

If you know of some more documentaries then please recommend. You can leave a comment below.

We travelled back through Kingston and it would have been really nice if it didn't rain but still a lovely place along the river and a good way if you like walking to explore and there are restaurants and places to sit by the Thames and then there are boat rides. Just an idea for the Summer holidays when it isn't pouring it down.

I love to write about those areas as they are really nice and is good to get out and watch the world go by and keeps my calm and at peace.

It is good to sit with a coffee or tea, and have a picnic and just taking in the calm of the water and be with the world not allowing the business from enjoy your surroundings.

So if you come to England or London check out Kingston and along the river if you want to get away from the business.

A Productive week

So it is Friday and what a week. It has been super productive and sorry I have not blogged at all during the week but been working on many things. I have started to write more of my book series Mum&Me the first book is already up on Amazon.

A picture of the stables in Ashtead

I have been upping my exercise and now train in the mornings again apart from Thursdays I walk to my sons school which takes an hour and a half as he goes to an Afterschool club and I went back over to Wimbledon to vote for the general election, shopping and worked in the coffee shop to get out and write in a different environment and going to do this each week.

Its just good to be in a different environment and when the sun comes out again as the weather has been a hit and missed, I would like to got to a park and write with a coffee, so come on sun show yourself.

The football is back on tomorrow and watched the England game and was going to write them off, when they Bellingham scored and then Harry Kane. Not good if you suffer with high blood pressure. That is it with football you never really know what is going to happen, especially with England. They again on Saturday so already have the day planned ready to be tormented by the England Football team once again they've got to get better.

We even planned to go to Sainsbury's and pick up dinner after our walk and the Sunday we are off to see my niece in a show.

Tonight I am doing my Radio show that I do Friday evenings at the moment 8 to 10 check out Epsom Hospital radio, and playing a mixture of songs some male some female and so been planning for that too.

Have a good week everyone and I can ensure you I have more daily posts to come.

Many thanks for reading,

A Weekend in a life

Friday: Oh I am tired! I did not sleep well as it took an eternity to get to sleep and heard shouting outside and then my son had a toilet accident and so got up made a cup of tea watched 5 minutes of TV and I think next time I will stay downstairs for a bit before getting some sleep.

A new pudding/drink I had lastnight made by my step dad. I can't remember what is was called but was lovely.

If you didn't know I am working for Epsom Hospital Radio and goes so quickly and you really have to concentrate and made a mistake at the end, but that is all part of learning and will get it right and did the show with little supervision.

Saturday: Was a good day off yes it is the evening now and not normally on my laptop in the evening but I don't have to get up early, but will be as I got to film something for my counselling course I am doing and today watched Celine Dion's documentary "I am Celine Dion" and then Bon Jovi "Thank you and Goodnight" and had a lovely dinner and now going to watch a bit of Youtube and waiting for a pudding and then be off to Bedfordshire. AKA night nights.

Sunday: I have been having a bit of a lazy morning, washed my hair, worked on a video as mentioned above and met my sons dad had our Sunday coffee and then did a bit of shopping and filmed more for my vlog channel Typical London Gal, and showed what I bought.

I am getting ready for the football later and my husbands is cooking dinner so get a day off from cooking and going to play football with my son out in the garden and then it will be the end of the another weekend. I am still buzzing by seeing Cyndi Lauper as it was booked last minute, check out my previous blog and so means school, running errands got to go back over to Wimbledon to vote in the Election, pick up my sons pocket money and need to buy another set of headphones for my laptop as forgot my usual pair, but could do with spare and get the large size headphones.

Then there is football. England are playing and I will be watching and a little anxious of how it is going to go. Will the team show up and play better as they haven't been on top form and part of me thinks they will go out and that its going to be another close call and waiting can be the hardest part.

If you aren't English or care about Football then I know many of won't get why I am anxious about it.

I want to see England win a trophy and I love the game, and it will so good as a nation, being that we at least got to win once again in a major tournament, but we will see.

Enjoy your weekend, the rest of it and that is hasn't been to bad for yourself and will post again as we get near to a new week.

Many thanks for reading,

What a week in my life looks like

Yes it is another week and not sure why but my son is full of energy.

Mondays: means school again, setting an alarm and deciding what to wear, whether we need our rain coats on or not, sun cream, a hat and if my son has PE and Swimming and just making sure my memory doesn't fail me.

My set up in my garden in Epsom and felt so nice to do enjoy the glorious weather this week

Thank the lord for modern technology and got back into using Notion, which is a programme to help plan as I was using OneNote which has been helpful, but because it has a certain amount of storage and had to delete items for spare storage felt it was a good opportunity to use Notion and I do really like it and got to grips with it now, as I was unsure. I am in the garden as it is a nice morning feel the weight of the morning drift away and getting out in he garden before it gets too hot to do so. Living in England you never know when the weather will change and so good to make the most of it and perfect temperature at the moment.

Tuesday: Henry was not playing ball this morning and took ages in eating his breakfast, getting dressed, brush his teeth and putting on sun cream, and so been a challenge but he has now gone and got a good chance of getting the bits I need to get done today before he returns and going to be making my meal plan for the week, do a bit more editing of my book When Mothers Are Real, my current book I am editing to get published.

Wednesday: I get up today my son is still in bed and which is the first and told me to go back downstairs. What its like to not be wanted. So I go to get him up and he has gone back to his bed and watch his tablet. It is going to be an interested start to the day. He wants to muck about and it means having to have a daily battle and yet I know these years are the most precious time and that kids grow up quickly, but they say it gets easier for me it's never felt like that way, and have to gather myself now he has gone off to school. So get on with doing the things I planned to do today and that a light will go off so he gets ready for school like a breeze and is a temporary set back and not feel like I am nagging and losing the will to live.

Thursday: After seeing Cyndi Lauper at the Albert Hall in London, Wednesday evening I am up at 5am to travel back to Epsom before his dad goes off to school and thankful that the transport was good today as it can be temperamental and so relieved and now here I am completing this blog.

Friday: Henry is off from school as he has an Inset Day and my son wants to walk from Epsom to London Waterloo and so not gonna think about tomorrow, as at the moment I am feeling the apprehension about this, so will see. I like walking, but I am a bit worried about getting back to Epsom, being it is Fish n chips day and I do my radio show, so will be a long day.

Then it is the weekend and recharging.

Does this resonate with you? Are you days like this? Please leave a comment below and going to enjoy the rest if Thursday.

Many thanks for reading,

Hoping for a good weekend

The Weekend in here and realising that next week it is an inset day for  my son and he has decided that he wants to walk again from Epsom to London Waterloo via all of the stations. Looks like it is going to be a long day.

I like the fact that my son is ambitious but not sure after Thursday's walk whether it will be a good idea as he moaned by the route we took and wanted to walk directly pass the station via the common, so will find a route to see if that is possible to walk, that will take us home.

However going to enjoy the weekend. It is a night in for me as I am usually working on Epsom Hospital radio, so we had a Pizza and watched the football and hope the weather continues to be nice and will film some of it.

We are chilling and my son was getting me up today as decided to sleep in which now it doesn't feel right so going to continue to get up normal time between 5 to 6am and feel so good for it.

I know why? Because I feel so better for it and get such a head start. It is good to have that extra bit of time to work on projects, have a nice cup of tea without interruption and no worrying about school and catch up on a bit of TV.

I do tend to watch James Martins Show and repeats of Cheers, and Everyone Loves Raymond.

Then it is clothes. I am a casual gal and love my leggings, jeans and tracksuit bottoms and shorts in the summer and gym gear, because I am usually playing football or rugby with my son, and what is comfortable and what I am realistically I am going to wear.

My Hayfever is really bad, as soon as I came inside from playing football from the garden had a sneezing fit and so today need to buy some more house tissues and going to get something for it as it is getting to me a bit.

We have shopping being delivered and doing it online has saved me money check out my recent video talking about Monitoring my money: Life and Money - YouTube and we did do this for a while and then started to shop instore but think that I'd buy our groceries for shopping and did a list and stuck to it.

It avoids impulse shopping and go for some of the deals but do the maths to make sure if it is a good deal or not and what alternative can we buy that will help us save the pennies and go towards the next shop.

At the moment my son is playing up as he is restless and so will be popping out soon so he can let off some steam as he gets bored and starts to play up so he definitely keeps us on our toes.

So anyway it is coming to the time where the shopping will be arriving and have some food again, as we are almost empty and it is good, and would recommend having a picture of cupboard and fridge with food that will feed us for the week and am trying my best to have so much waste.

What do you do when a kid won't stop wanting something to eat? Honestly, such a challenge at the moment and not even 10am.

However going to pop out and then come back and if weather is okay play some football.

Many thanks for reading,

Carrie X

Went to a lovely Afternoon tea party

It has been a good week so far. Well yesterday was challenging as I took Henry to the doctors because he keeps itching and so wanted it to be checked out and it seems his Eczema has returned, not having it for such a long time.

I wrote a blog can't remember which site but he no longer has eczema, yet its returned.

He goes back to school today, as parenthood is challenging because he is full of energy and that we had him checked out and that he didn't have an infection which I was worry about. I went for an Afternoon tea up at the Epsom Downs at the Racecourse and was so nice.

I met some brilliant people who are volunteers and NHS medical staff and everyone was so friendly.

Ian who I work with on Epsom Radio on a Friday. Not on this week but will back the week after and so I am so glad a went.

Epsom Downs is beautiful and wished I had taken more pictures, but there was a photographer and so wasn't sure if it was okay, so next time I will ask.

The Afternoon tea was lovely but had a couple of coffees and couldn't sleep last night but was worth it.

I am not longer going to bed too early as lastnight couldn't get to sleep and finally drifted off but had to go back downstairs and even my son was like "We need to stay up later" so going to do that tonight and taking Henry to the park later when he returns from school and if it doesn't rain as it looks like it might do.

Today I plan to edit another vlog and thinking about making, come Summer vlogs, some changes and have a good sort out, of my Epsom where I live with my husband and son in the week and then weekends and school holiday in Wimbledon and please check out my Youtube channel vlog channel Typical London Gal Carrie Holmes Typical London Gal Carrie Holmes

So going to start getting the things I plan to do today and have a good Wednesday and more blogs to come.

My Dedication to Football

So England won, and I was not enthusiastic as I began to watch and Serbia were firing on all cylinders and not a side to underestimate, so won by the skin on their teeth and so next it is Denmark.

I developed an interest in football because of 1990 world cup which I have shared before, and do like the game, I just find that we don't take any risks when they play and need runners of the ball and I suppose I should be a bit more supportive and that they are only human too so will not get carried away, but be more cheerful about it.

When you've seen a lot of times where we just, like turn up and not qualify, but perhaps I need to stop reminiscing and that they are different set of players and that we have gotten close and that they will do better than what we are expecting. It is a sport so someone has to win or lose and not everyone is going to show up or just play well and just unlucky and hope Scotland can forget their first game and do well as expecting and boost the English and Scottish game.

Sometimes you just have to get on with it and so going to wait and see and that if it is a successful tournament for both Scotland and England, then who am I to judge.

How do you feel? Are you optimistic or just wait and see with me?

You can comment below.

I remember my dad he was into all sports and loved football and would moan a lot about it and sometimes I have to get a hold of myself, that I am being just like that and that England has no chance in hell in winning, so will take every game as it comes.

Perhaps I should play as I am listening to music as I write this blog, the England Song The World in Motion and be a bit more cheerful.

I would not stop singing this song at secondary school and my friends and I would go into the WHSmiths in Sloane Square or in Victoria Station, and whilst my friends would look in music magazines and teenage mags, I would check out the Football mags and I did have a super crush on Glen Hoddle from when he took over as manager of Chelsea, and buy all the football mags that had a photo of him and suspect that I had more pictures than he did.

Paul Gascoigne was one of my favourite players along with Gary Lineker, John Barnes, and my most favourite player is Gordon Strachan and yes he is Scottish but was unstoppable when he played and never stop running and would be so fast with the ball that he made it look so easy to run with the ball and even when the rest of the players weren't doing well, he still would try and get a goal and took a long time to knock down and was a regular target for players who tried to stop him.

Who is your favourite player? Again leave a comment below.

So lets see.

How will England FC do tonight?

So how will England play tonight in the Euros and some of us may not be interested and part of me is not sure I want to watch it. Yes I am being a Pessimist and should have faith but watching so many and seeing England got bit in their last friendly before the Euros and I am not positive.

I want to believe they have a chance, I am just not getting my hopes up.

It was a good chilled out weekend, but got told off in ASDA for filming, when I have filmed in there before and never been an issue, and do respect others who may not be filmed, I love their clothing and complimenting the clothes, so not sure if I will continue to shop in there now, and prefer to buy online anyway and has made me want to shop elsewhere.

When it comes to shopping like to do it in the week and only go up there because my husband and is tricky to walk there. This could be a money saver by not going there, and not buy because it is on offer and the price doesn't always match the product.

Also I do prefer to shop online rather than in store and going to use it to save, so often when we have a bad experience, it is time to re-address what we are doing and what we can get from it to turn it into a positive.

Apart from that it was good to just do very little and relax.

Sometimes it is good to not be with our phones and like today used it to listen to music whilst I cook dinner but not looked at social media and watched Dirty Dancing. The original Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze, and not watched it for a long time.

My son has what looks like eczema and so going to see if can get advice from the GP as used many creams but still itching so going to see if they can recommend on what we can do, and according to a report today on radio jacket the Pollen is going to quite high so will see if I can get medicine for that just in case as my son and I both suffer with it. I never did as a kid but as I have gotten old and my son from the last two years or so suffered with it.

So yes so going to check on dinner and more blogs to come.

You can subscribe if you'd like to be notified when I post a blog and never miss one.

The Weekend in upon us

It is the weekend and sorry for not posting enough on here it has been a week where I had appointments and doing a couple of courses so had to get those done and the days just gone so fast. Last night I did my radio show and boy it is like doing a workout but did it and I always get butterflies beforehand and the self doubt comes to life but it is always enjoyable so part of it is excitement.

Route we take to leatherhead station and is a real nice walk that I have been doing on Thursdays and building my steps for the week.

Next week is going to be different as I am not doing the radio show and will spending time with my son as his father is off out and so will be entertaining my 10 year old and so thinking Pizza and a movie, with some popcorn and some other bits to go with it and just have a mother and son night in.

It is going to be strange but time with my son in precious when he's not being a monster.

My son plays up when he is hungry and tired, and fights it. He likes to still have cuddles in the evening and an occasional story before bed, and has so much energy that it is tiring and so thank god for coffee.

This morning we are off to ASDA's and so going to film my weekly shop, and my son loves being in charge of the trolley and has the knack of picking something random and putting it into the trolley and not realizing when I go to check out.

I like to plan ahead and know what I have done and want to do next and work on different projects and today we may go up to London. I haven't told my son incase we don't go because of the weather. It is sunny now but can change, so if we go want it to be a surprise as he wanted to go to London Waterloo when I picked up on Thursday as he has a afterschool club and travel back by train.

It is the Trooping of the colour so there will be a fly path which we love to see and so if we do then I will include it is a vlog and check out my vlog I uploaded this week: https://youtu.be/TgVsoCC8kmo

So have a good weekend and more blogs to come in the week.

Many thanks for reading,

Getting anxious do you have the same feelings?

It is Thursday morning and week so far as been good and enjoyed a morning walk yesterday morning and posted on my blog site My Style way of living: My Style Way of Living and it was about life doesn't have to be too much.

Picture I took yesterday walking through Ashtead

Do things you enjoy and aswell have time for yourself. I will be walking more today to my sons school and visiting a school today as we got to choose a secondary school for my son and so hope this school will be suitable.

If you have any tips on know of schools in Surrey please let me know. You can leave a comment below.

To continue this blog it is Friday and yesterday, we went to visit a school (me and my mum) and not suitable but coming back from sons school as I pick him up on Thursday's as he goes to an afterschool club got the train and it was so much better as we found a short cut and normally we get a bus which we usually have to wait 45 minutes for, so was a good result and was picked up from the station and beat the bus, so definitely will be getting the train again.

Today I will be going to Kingston and getting anxious feelings as always and wanting to back out of it as I have an appointment and always get that feeling in my stomach and have a love hate relationship with it.

I shared in my blog posts, everyone can build a castle about how it helps me because to make sure I take everything need, bought with me and if it doesn't workout or not lead to anything then not to worry it just wasn't meant to be.

Its the build up of it and not knowing what to expect and getting back to Epsom on time and then I have my radio show in the evening as I do a show at Epsom Hospital and I do enjoy its just where I get up early it feels like a long day.

I uploaded a new vlog yesterday if would check it out https://youtu.be/CWSSmU-9itU

At the weekend we are going into London and on a bus and train ride, and then it is getting ready for another week.

So I hope you have a good weekend and be back with more blogs to come.

A good chilled out weekend

So it is Monday once again and it was good listening to a audiobook lastnight. I was listening to This Girl's on Fire by Andrea McLean https://www.amazon.co.uk/This-Girl-Fire-Thrive-BESTSELLER/dp/1788175123 before bed and read a bit of another book, The Power of Mindfulness: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71s0ivMvFtL._SL1500_.jpg

The weekend was a good relaxing one and went on a Sunday walk in Epsom as it was my husband's birthday and I love my Sunday walks and think I am going to do this each Sunday and get up early to do so and the weather wasn't too bad and was wrapped up and time we got back I was boiling.

Half term was good, seeing one of my cousins was good as we have our own lives and family and so don't get to see them a lot so always good when we can and they love visiting London and it was good that I got some days to myself whilst my son was at a holiday club and then Friday we went for a walk and saw some trains which pleased my son, which was also whilst we took a walk on the Sunday too and the weather wasn't great but still got to have a good week without worrying about school.

Now it is a new week I am catching up on my daily blog, caught up some TV, check out Outlaws really good and funny, on BBC iPlayer and writing down food that needs to be used up and my first day back cooking and making dinner Friday as my husband has made it a must that we have a takeaway Fish n Chips each Friday.

I want to clean more in the kitchen and decided to start walking on the treadmill in the morning when my son goes off to school when I want to stop in and still do my workout with my dumbbells in the afternoon.

It is coming up the the time of when my son will be on his way back from school and settling down to have a bath and ready to wind down. It is bath day and I want to be able to wear shorts tomorrow but unsure I guess I will need to wait until tomorrow to decide, as I never know with English weather of what it is going to do, but I will blog and have a good rest of Monday.

Many thanks for reading,

Near the end of the School half term

It is almost the end of half term and feel tired and slept in this morning which I haven't done in a long time but wanted to take a break from my laptop and feel good in doing so. My mind was buzzing and was feeling overwhelmed and so needed the break.

My cousin came down to take his boys to London and to the museums and my brother with his wife and girls visited too and it was good to get together as we all live in different places in the UK so when we do it is always good fun.

I have my radio show tonight and getting that inner nerves and anxious about it and do enjoy it but it is will I get it right and just take my time and chill out a bit more.

The weekend is going to be a chilled one and then it is back to school week, so will be getting back to normal and gonna do a reset to catch up on todays list and make sure my son is ready as he has swimming again on a Tuesday and at Afterschool club, and got an appointment in Kingston.

There is also the Epsom Derby weekend and as I live in Epsom and in Wimbledon, it will be super busy and so going to go out in the morning and stay indoors. It is a good event to go to, and my last one was when I was pregnant with my son and it was good but was tired a lot and so headed back home, and on Friday today, is Ladies Day, something I have always wanted to go to.

I know horse racing is not for everyone but I love it and seen many bands at the racecourse and has been good and would recommend.

It is Fish n Chips tonight being Friday and then going for breakfast morning as it is my husband's birthday and then just chill.

So I hope you have a good weekend and I will be blogging more at the weekend in the week ahead so see you then.

Many thanks for reading,

Getting my life together

What a weekend! Welcome to my daily blog, if you are new then this is my daily blog where I talk about Random topics and my feelings and thoughts. This can be parenting, managing life and getting the most out of life.

I am in Wimbledon and will be until next Friday and got a good week ahead. We have a family gathering and my son goes to his holiday club and I will be if it doesn't rain read my book in the park and check out the Charity shops as I am after some denim shorts, a pair of jeans and Khaki shorts so going to have a look.

There will be more blogs for my Life Coaching programme. I've been posting a blog for it every Tuesday and then I post my vlogs on Wednesday, videos for my life coaching programme on a Thursday and video for my channel Financial Living on a Friday.

Check out my Pinterest where you can find all my content along with Facebook and Twitter Typical London Gal (thetypicalLondongal) - Profile | Pinterest The Typical London Gal (@Carrie82434764) / X Typicallondongal | Facebook

I am up early on Bank Holiday Monday and my time to do a bit of work and get bits done before my son wants to go down stairs.

I like using this time to edit my book, watch some Youtube and do some of my Life Coaching course.

If you want to check out my blog Organize4thebetter then do I talk a lot about time as I am not organized and do get it wrong sometimes but that is what helps me to be organized. I share tips on organizing for the school holidays being a parent myself and don't need another set of holidays to get over it because entertaining kids can be tricky.

There are times where things don't go to plan but that is life and the one thing I have taken more care of is self criticism and self acceptance that I will get things wrong, and as long as it is not life threatening then it is okay.

When doing my radio show Friday, I am doing now almost played the wrong song and not got ready for the news, but I still did the show, I am getting to grips of the order that things need to be in and taking it step by step.

So going to enjoy my day, got a hazelnut latte and want to get more bits done as now it is mid morning and my son has gone to help his Grandpa with sorting the bins out in the school where he works and it is good to have kids do chores and have responsibilities. I write a parenting blog so check out it our here: The parenting adventures | Easy Flexible Parenting (wordpress.com)

The End of the Week

So almost the final day of the Spring term and thankful for the rain to have gone, well in some areas and not gloating but happy because on Thursdays I pick my son up from school, as he has an afterschool club, so I walk there which takes some time but didn't get soaked and it is a lovely walk.

Ashtead

I would recommend you visit Ashtead as there are some really lovely little shops and the village is worth a visit and going to walk there after my son goes to school one day as there are some charity shops that I want to check out, not for entertainment, but I am looking for specific things.

We need more bowls, so looking for a good set, then looking for a pair of trainers that I can wear when walking on treadmill and training indoors.

I am in the look out for sets and dresses for the summer and can be worn throughout the year.

Check my blog site: https://www.carriesversatilefashion.com

This talks about long-lasting fashion that can be worn through all seasons.

Sometimes the prices can be more than a store so I do my homework, but I do love checking them out to see what I can find and have one off items.

I have to pack up today as tomorrow we will be returning to Wimbledon as it is half term and my son is going to a holiday club and so I will be editing my next book, my counselling course, and on my content, and will be filming.

Walking to my sons school is a good route and saw some horses as there is a farm near by and love doing this walk, and he will be going to afterschool after the half term as my son gets so much out of it.

It has been hard to find clubs that cater to his needs for his learning difficulties and have turned him away so it is good that he can continue to have social interaction. He loves other kids and being in a group environment. Not so big but enough she he can play and trying to teach about conversation.

So have a great weekend and will blog more next week.

Many thanks for reading,

Getting through life

Today I was fully alive and felt a bit extra tired this morning and was anxious about going out, so the best thing I did was go out, and glad I did as I felt so much better for doing so. I was worried lastnight that Henry may had a tummy bug again, but he was fine.

Rosbery park Epsom one of the places I love to walk

Some say and I felt it too, was that I worry too much and so something I have had to work on.

I hate feeling anxious, and I have written a blog talking about how it helps me, but have mixed beliefs now on that. I have learned how to change it, by changing the anxiety to excitement from listening to Mel Robbins who would get anxiety.

My son wants cuddles as it is the evening and like cuddles and have to make the most of these pleasures, because this won't be forever and that saddens me. It makes me thankful for what and who I have in my life and enjoy each day and face challenging times, that's life.

Everyday doesn't have to be repetitive and so good to do different things and taking opportunities rather than allowing our fear to stand still of what might go wrong. Living like that is never going to help you.

I want each to be as good as the last but life is a mix, but it is how you deal with each challenge or difficult event that comes your way.

I discovered an album of chillout music that I used to have, and found it, here is a link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_lpoK9g6jg&t=1210s

So have a good evening and have more daily blogs to come.

Many thanks for reading,

Better to do it now rather than later sometimes

It is Tuesday now and it not as sunny as warm as yesterday so I am having a day indoors and sometimes it is good to just chill at home. I've worked on my book and life coaching course this morning, posted a new blog for my life Coaching blog: https://everyonecanbuildacastle.com/2024/05/21/life-coaching-programme-summer-project-2024-beginning-a-new-chapter-in-your-life/

I've done more of my counselling course, cleaned a pair of my sons trainers and going to sort out the food cupboard and a walk on the treadmill and do a dumbells workout and feel so good to be so productive. This is not everyday as there are days I struggle, but felt fully awake this morning and felt super energized.

I have just done a walk on the treadmill and didn't plan it for it to be this morning just felt like wanted to do it, so I did and sorted out my food cupboard and got to give it a clean.

Cleaning is not my thing but I like to get it done as I like the results and just gone through the food to start and now it is just taking everything off the shelves and clean it.

I like to prep, and save myself time. I like to free up space so I can take a break and not be on my laptop for too long and I use this time to work on my blogs.

Now I have completed everything on my to-dos today, in terms of cleaning and tidying, but got to cut up potatoes for dinner and my sons dinner, got to give his little lordship a bath and hope that I have time to wash my hair and have a good nights sleep ready for another day.

It all systems go.
