All Inclusive Sports club

Today it is a new day. A new start to the week and I feel so good about today. As a kid I dreaded Monday's, because I didn't like going to school. I would wish for the weekend to be longer and could return to Friday evening and felt I needed an extra day.

I get now why my son doesn't always want to go because it is tiring, but the good thing about his school is because they do different activities rather than sit down classes all of the time and his development has climbed mountains from when he began school, to now.

I write a blog about my son if you'd like to check it out: https://theparentingadventuresthebirthofmyson.wordpress.com

We had a good weekend, doing Parkrun, then had a coffee, played out in the playground, watched the six nations, Ireland VS England and then Sunday took my son to his Rugby club and I did my radio show.

I do radio show on Epsom Hospital radio on Sunday's 4pm to 6pm and I really enjoy it.

Doing Voluntary work is such good fun and at the Rugby club on Sundays, the coaches are all volunteers.

There are young guys who help the coaches and so rewarding, knowing you are making a difference and I did football coaching and underestimated how much work is required. Playing with your own kids is different to teaching other peoples children. The team my son does sessions with is the all inclusive group. So kids with learning difficulties and is challenging, but these coaches at the club really know what they are doing.

I talk a lot about it because it has made a real difference to my son as he is learning to share and not get upset if he doesn't get a medal at the end of each session and they are very good in how the reward the children and great for them to let off some steam.

It is good for me also as I get to socialise and at my sons school do a afterschool club and they do different sports. This not been forced upon him, he loves playing sports and the kids are always smiling when it finishes. When I worked at a holiday club it so badly organised. There were two brothers  fighting all of the time, but when I played tennis with the younger one he was fine had to split then up ad I didn't enjoy it because depending on upon the age and number of children you have.

At my sons rugby club there are at least 5 or so coaches, it not a small group so you do need more coaches for health and safety for them to coach the children. They have such a good set up. Yes some of the kids do get upset as many of the children have autism and it is how you communicate. It has taught me a lot from how they teach these children as there is no shouting or screaming or the coaches arguing, there's no conflict at all and so they just get on with it.

They even do walking rugby at the club and one of the other presenters does walking football, It so inclusive and a great way to wind down and think about something else not being stuck indoors.
