Why I love Youtube

Hello and welcome to my newsletter blog of my thoughts and advice for the week, and in today's post I am sharing why I love Youtube.

Well to begin, it is for me easy viewing and brings me so much energy that I have become a lot more productive and less stressed because I know that I am not the only one who for example feels that I am getting my parenting skills all wrong, and that I am only human, and to not always focus on to do lists, but have fun too.

I like it when the videos are non perfect and not fully edited, but real to life and I can relate to.

I think if we could all be like Mrs Hinch for example we would be, if cleaning the house didn't often feel like an endless chore and something to relish on, but for me I like to sit back and not worry about cleaning all the time and do a wordsearch instead or watch endless videos and I like it when those who create videos I like do feel like that too.

I am not a lover of cleaning but I do it because I don't want to live in a pigsty and a messy room, because it can stress you out rather than a clean room, so that is why we do it. I love the fact that since having Youtube in my life I haven't had to buy any music it is all there ready.

I can choose bits of programmes I want to watch like Interviews on daytime TV rather than having to watch the whole show.

I have shared this week in my blog posts of channels I like to watch, please see links to these below:

I do have to control how much Youtube I watch, however I would not live without it and do enjoy watching Youtube than watching TV on occasions.

Please let me know of what you like about Youtube. You can leave a comment below.

How to protect yourself this summer

Group Of Happy Young People Having Fun At The Beach Summer Day ...

Hello and welcome to another Newsletter Weekly blog, where I share my thoughts and advice for the week.

Here are some thoughts and advice of how to protect yourself this summer:

  • If you are visiting some cities in the UK or abroad then keep your belongings safe as now they can pick up your bank card details via special scanner and so keep these tucked in tightly in a bag, and avoid putting items in side or back pockets, because there are pickpockets working around cities
  • As of today it is compulsory in the UK that you must where a face mask when going in and out of shops
  • Carry sanitizer, antibacterial wipes and tissues with you, if you are going to use public toilets and touch handrails as they are full of germs
  • Carry suncream wherever you go, as even when it is breezy you can still get burnt by the sun as it can be deceiving
  • Hack, if going away and you have dirty clothes than take a pillowcase with you to use to store your dirty clothes in and then wash these altogether once you have enough for a load and wash above 40 degrees as this helps to kill germs in clothes
  • Take a first aid kid with you, as kids are prone to accidents and this just helps just in case you need a plaster
  • Don't allow children to drink the water in their baths, showers or swimming pools as the chlorine can cause a child to be sick, plus there are a load of germs in a swimming pool
  • Never leave a kid unattended in a boiling hot car or a pet, as they can easily get too hot and cause serious harm
We all have to play our part in staying safe, and so take responsibility and any litter put into a bag and dispose of once you come across a bin.

How you can still save money aswell as have a good time during the summer holidays

Hello and welcome to another blog where I share my thoughts and advice each week.

In today's post I am talking about how you can still save money aswell as have a good time during the school holidays and still have fun.

So many places will be reopening if they haven't just yet, and as long as you are wearing a face mask when required, then most places you should be okay to go in. The first place I am taking Henry as he spends the weekends with his dad, is Battersea Park.

This park is one of our favourites as there are various playgrounds with swings, climbing frames and slides, you can do the Go Ape adventure park but to do that you do have to pay, along with the kids zoo, however there are plenty of areas to play ball games on or you can sit or walk along the river.

We will also be doing some learning activities on the Oak School, which is an online educational programme where they can do various learning activities at home, and is completely free to use.

Of course we will be doing more outdoors too, but I want to help with Henry's learning ready for when he starts in year 2.

Most buses and train stations accept debit or credit card contactless payment to gain entry and to ride on, and bus is a lot cheaper than the train.

I will be having some days indoors too and do some crafting, drawing and writing, I will be putting a scrapbook together to show pictures and details of what we did in the holidays so he can show this to his teacher and friends when he returns to school.

Then there is swimming and one of the activities on his summer homework sheet is swimming and so I will be taking note of his homework for the summer so we can do as many activities the school has listed on his homework sheet, as possible.

So let me know what you are doing during the summer holidays. You can leave a comment below.

Glad it is Friday

Free Its Friday Cliparts, Download Free Clip Art, Free Clip Art on ...

So glad it's Friday as I don't know about you but I feel somewhat burned out today. This is my third blog written Please see links below of my others two if you would like to read them.

https://organize4thebetter.blogspot.com/2020/07/organizing-6-year-old-child.html

Going backward and forwards to do the school run, doing work during school hours and then entertaining my son in the afternoons to the evening can take its toll.

In a weeks time Henry, my son will break up for the summer holidays and I am looking forward to these.

It will mean looking after my son for the whole day but no rushing around like there is when there is no school to go to.

I have decided that I will do a whole plan for each day, to explore and take Henry out to different places.

So I am going to probably sit back now, watch a bit of Youtube and take it a little easier today and I will blog again tomorrow on my other sites listed below. I hope you have good day too and have a super weekend.

Celebrating Son's Week

Hello and welcome to another blog sharing my thoughts and advice for the week.

So apparently it is Son's week and as I have a son, thought I would write about what it is like to have a son.

As my little dude was born premature his birth to me it is a lot more special because of the fact he spent the first part of his life in the hospital until he was strong and big enough to come home.

His birth was very traumatic, because after I would say an easy pregnancy, he was delivered my emergency Caesarean due to his heart rate dropping, and it was discovered that the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, and so was in distress.

Since he was born it has been one heck of a rollercoaster. He can be a typical boy, not being sexist, but super boystraus at times and is full of energy.

He has always been an early riser and rarely sleeps beyond 6am, if he does it is every now and then.

His likes have been quite masculine, such as liking Spongebob squarepants, thomas the tank engine, and has never shown interest in dolls or anything, more boyish toys and games.

The dude can play football all day, and his favourite game which I have mentioned in my parenting blogsite:

https://theparentingadventurestipsandtricks.wordpress.com/

He loves magnetic darts and watching quiz shows such as Countdown, Tipping Point, Tenable and The Chase.

However as much he can drive me mad some days, he makes it up by giving me lots of cuddles, and has always been a cuddly boy and very sociable.

If you would like to read more stories about my son growing up I write another parenting blog aswell as the one mentioned above called:
