Getting Ready for Normality/The London Life

It is Sunday the 14th February. Happy Valentines Day! So I am getting ready for normality and being in London and living the full London Life again. I am going to at some point visit the Kings road Chelsea and see what is down there now as it has been a while and was a good place to go for browsing around the shops and then having a bite to eat.

Then there is Sloane Street, Knightsbridge and the London Parks. I am going to spend a lot of time walking around these and would like to go to a music festival, a football match, work in a coffee shop (doing my writing) and have a McDonalds again.

I love where I come from and there was a time I wanted to get away but that was because what was happening around me and I felt it was the right time and went to work in a Holiday Camp, because it is something I had wanted to do since a kid. I just needed that time to do my own thing which I have done a lot in my life and feel it is good to be different. There was a time when I was felt it wasn't good but, yes if we were all the same it would be a boring world.

The other thing I love doing is visiting the Borough Market and would like to go down Petticoat Lane for the Sunday Market as I miss going to a market. You can find some really good bits and bobs. I would like a holiday and visit Clacton where I went as a kid and take my son to Disney World at some point. I think having this Lockdown it has made me see how the little things we can often we take for granted because we never thought this would come and how much we miss them.

So yes I am looking forward to normality and all of its Glory.

Planning Days During the Pandemic

Hello and welcome! In this post of Thoughts and Advice for the week I am talking about 5 ways to Planning Days During the Pandemic.

Well if you have kids hanging around your ankles then it means they need a bit more stimulation and have loads of energy stored and are bored. Kids tend to be disruptive and mitschievous when they are bored so its like what can we do?

1. Have kids help you meal plan and do a list and have them tick off which meals they would love to have on each day or week, and have them join in the cooking process

2. Homeschool with snacks and drinks. This then makes it more stress free and have them use rice and pasta for maths, like knowledge or weighing things, adding up or do arts and crafts with potatoes. An old favourite from when I was at school and can even do this with rice and pasta and create art

3. Still have a few friends come round as for me, as long as they have washed their hands, I don't see this as wrong. We as humans need social interaction and having a lunch at home with a few friends can be just what we need, rather than being on our own all the way through lockdown

4. Use the weekends if you work in the week to unwind and have a catch up via Skype, Voice call or Zoom meeting, with family and friends and have a Zoom Tea party

5. Create a Youtube channel of the things you love. There are a lot of those who create content on Youtube who do it as a hobby and have other jobs. It is a great platform or use Instagram or Facebook to share videos on things you love. Another way of keeping in touch with people

Pandemic doesn't mean we have to stop living and having internet now means that we can all still keep in touch, so don't let it stop you from having fun and cozy days when it is cold outside is often what you want to interact with friends.
