If I Could be any actor who would I be?

I am listening to Podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fHplfZED6I with Kirk Russell and his son Wyatt Russell and I love Goldie Hawn. I first saw Overhead at my friends house after we watched some horror films. We all freaked out and my friends mum ordered Chinese food and I am so glad we decided to watch that instead and we didn't make it the end of the film Overboard so we watched the rest in the morning and it was my friends birthday. We had been to Thorpe Park.

I grew up watching musicals and comedy black and white films and I loved Doris Day and Judy Garland and for school coursework I did my coursework about Judy Garland as my dad had a magazine about her. I didn't take care of it which I do regret but I'd imagine myself being her.

Wizard of OZ was a fantastic film. I am so glad they created Wicked.

Calamity Jane, starring Doris Day and watch it over and over again. I drove my parents mad, but have no regret there and still love the film.

When I was setting up my radio show the theme song from Calamity Jane came on and it just gives me so many goosebumps because of watching as a kid and my dad recorded it for me when we have a Video Tape player. This was before CD's and Youtube. We are talking the 80's and on BBC 2 they always had old films on, especially at the weekend and how I fell in love with Laurel and Hardy, George Forbey and to Doris Day and Judy Garland.

I would love to be in a musical but need to work on the voice and I still dream today.

Who knows what life has in store but I am to be a observer and I adore Demi Moore. Favourite film ghost, Jennifer Aniston, my style Icon and Meg Ryan.

If I could be in a film and some may be surprised it would be Demi Moore Striptease. Yes I've said it but have to workout and no longer allowed a packet of hula hoops and cheese. I love pub snacks and food.

So if you could be an actor who would you be? You can leave a comment below.

What is Going on With ITV

What is going on with ITV? Both me and my husband were watching Deal or No Deal and it was another repeat of the same series and I swear it was the third time. On Saturdays they show different episodes of Alan Titchmarsh programmes, Love Your Garden and Love your weekend and its getting to me now.

I have seen that there have been customer complaints. Now I know they are showing new series of The Chase because my friend who I have known for a long time were surprisingly on it. I did like the programme The Lady about Sarah Ferguson's Assistant Dresser who was accused of murdering her boyfriend and I want to catch up on Grace, but wish they stop with repeats.

It has really put me off from watching the day time shows on IT  because of this and I know they rely on advertising and shows sponsorships but it just really boring.

I love Alan Titchmarsh show Love Your Weekend and James Martin on Saturdays but not of the same ones.

I can see why people are now watching other channels like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Paramount. I love Prime TV for the documentaries and Netflix. People want fresh new programmes and so I feel that they're struggling financially.

Will ITV keep broadcasting?

I would love to know your thoughts. You can leave a comment below.

They now change location of I'm A Celebrity. It will be in South Africa. I am not a constant watcher of the show and my tastes of TV have changed. I watch a lot of Youtube because its live and raw.

I want ITV to stay alive and the 1%Club hosted by Lee Mack is good and my son likes it. Its just repeats its frustrating and I want it to continue because of those types of programmes I like on there like the dramas, but just wish they'd make new Deal or No Deals, along with The Chase and my son loves Tipping Point but now that's not been on all the time and now I have moved on to other programmes not on ITV.

So I hope it gets better.

Being Authentic isn't important its being consistent

It is amazing what you learn. I just listened to this podcast and watched others on Youtube talking about business about it is about being consistent, not being Authentic.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWZI2RyI9wM

I like to watch Youtube whilst I plan my day
If you want to be a vlogger than watching others doing that can help to build and decide what type of videos work for you and get ideas. I make sure I consistently build and grow my knowledge.

I have written about being authentic and in some ways I think yes but he made a valid point in that if someone is operating on someone you wouldn't want it to authentically done, you want them to be consistent in ensuring they know what they're doing and use their knowledge to do it.

Yes you can be kind and considerate and you want to surgeon to care but his focus is to get the operation done so the person being operated on is saved and that the patients life has been saved potentially and that patient can get on with their life.

He also talks about perfection. That is unrealistic and I agree. I read a article a long time ago and it was about aiming for the perfect body and she ended up being totally miserable and said that you should celebrate your imperfections and it is about acceptance and yes being healthy but never say no more as your mind will instantly rebel, but for me it is a bit at a time.

I no longer obsess but listen to my body and mind. My son loves chocolate but too much is not good and so we not said no he can't have any, but reduced his intake and now he is at school again, as he was learning at the library with a tutor, he would constantly say he is hungry. He has been snacking less and is having his three meals a day and that's not by pressure but because he's mind is being distracted from his mind that says "He's still hungry". The one thing I am happy about is that he isn't super fussy and will eat vegetables. He will eat some fruits and at his school they don't do deserts and yes it has to come from us too when it comes to food so I make sure he has a fulfilling breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This is not being authentic but with children it is being consistent. If you set a rule then follow it through.

I wanted to read more because I love books and it helps set up my day and end my day so I have consistently made sure each morning and end of each day, I read. I never have an excuse and even if I have ten minutes in the morning I make sure I read.

I like getting up with in the morning and sleep later at the weekends. I still set my alarm at 5am and will drink some water and then once I have read, made my bed, got dressed have my cup of tea and then make sure I do some walking.

If something is not working out. Then change it. I was doing my radio show on Sunday's but it was too much of a rush as my son has rugby club and now he is at school its getting my son ready for school, now changed it to doing my radio to Friday morning.

I love learning and growing as a human and being consistent not authentic.

Is the Theatre Dead

I love the theatre. As a child I was spoiled with seeing shows. I remember seeing The Sooty Show, Keith and Orvil, Button Moon and was part of living in London.

At the weekend after 24 years of wanting to see the Phantom of the Opera I finally got to go and it was because my Cousin had booked the tickets but was the wrong date and so we had the tickets instead and was not disappointed. I love the music and the set was amazing but perhaps the wrong theatre because of restricted view but enjoyed it and was quite emotional at the end and not what I expected.

Theatres have been around for thousands of years and places like Blackpool would have big theatres for shows and where many acts performed and there were holiday camps where many entertainers would perform and many it was a kick start to there career and acrobatics and remember going to Battersea park to see a circus and then myself working at a Holiday camp would spend time when not working watching many shows.

Living in Wimbledon I would see shows locally and in Epsom too. Visited the Polka Theatre and The Rose Theatre in Kingston and would love to see a show at the Festival Hall in London.

As a kid we'd go to the Hammersmith Apollo, the Lyric Theatre in Kings Street in Hammersmith and my favourite Theatre the London Palladium. It is an experience and great thing to do with your friends and family. Yes it can be expensive. The Albert Hall is shockingly expensive and I feel the vibe to go there has gone because it is so expensive.

However we need theatres and many theatres have closed, but now I feel it has become popular again and would like to at least see a a few shows each year and going to continue. They have Jesus Christ Superstar at the London Palladium coming. I have seen Joseph and Technicolour dreamcoat with Jason Donovan as Joseph, last year saw Jason Donovan in The Rocky Horror show and my sons first musical was Hairspray. Then seen the Devils Wear Prada twice and I just the love a trip to the theatre.

We have been to the Epsom Playhouse to see shows, Woking and Guildford. My niece goes to a theatre school and we go to see her in a show each year and it is so good for kids. I love taking my son to a show. We had an issue when we saw the Lion King because my son was getting restless and the guy in front was getting annoyed, but the theatre was full of children being a 2pm Matinee and so I explained he has learning difficulties and then he moved and then saw a show where there was a group arguing but it has taken away the joy of the theatre and my son is a lot better and enjoys it.

So I feel the theatre has come alive again and great gift for mothers day. Hint Hint.

More blogs to come and so have a good week.

I do have other blogs check out these links below where they are always posted.

When on the bus you can hear a whole telephone conversation

I do call people on the bus but I try not to because it can be annoying for others and I believe you have to respect each other when travelling and today a woman was on her phone from when waiting at the bus stop and doing face time and looked at me annoyed because I sneezed yet the whole bus could hear her conversation.

I am not a saint I have been told off from being on my phone when my son was playing in the park and she was right in doing so and there is a time and place.

Some people are on their phones crossing roads and riding bikes. Yes they are good in case of an emergency but when you should be paying attention when crossing a road you are putting others in danger.

Also we should be setting an example for the next generation when travelling and all you hear is someone on the phone. I had a realisation from Jo Frost, who was Supernanny and I am guilty to, is handing your child your phone. I find it better to take a physical game like building blocks, my niece was playing with a travel hangman game or a book to read. Colouring book and pens.

I do feel we rely on our phones to much and I like writing things down, aswell as using my Notes APP and Notion to remind myself of things and often will put my phone somewhere where I can't reach for it.

It is good for taking pictures. Today I was taken photos for my Newsletter I post each month on my blog site Everyone can build a castle, I like to journal on it and look on social media, but not all the time. I was guilty of looking at my phone every five minutes and I was waiting for my bank card, but had it on my phone but hated that method and so glad to have a physical card.

I have scrolled on my phone when I should have been paying attention and I like to play music and I like audiobooks so it has its uses its just when people are travelling and not using headphones. I don't want to hear a telephone conversation and find it inconsiderate and yes I suppose I could walk but why should I?

We all have to share this world and the things within it and so it is important to respect each other.

What is your opinion about people on their mobiles when travelling, crossing the road and riding on a bike? You can leave a comment below.

If you liked this blog I do have other blog sites and all my posts including this one are all posted on my Pinterest, X and Facebook and I also have a vlog channel on Youtube if you'd like to check them out.
